Dr. Dhara Patel was born and raised in Plant City, Florida. She is a proud two-time Gator, receiving both her bachelor’s and Doctor of Dental Medicine degrees from the University of Florida (UF). Following her graduation from UF College of Dentistry, she completed her residency at the Veteran’s Administration Hospital in Orlando, Florida where she learned how to place and restore implants and perform smile makeovers. During her residency, Dr. Patel found that serving the veterans and listening to their stories was most rewarding.

Dr. Patel knew from a young age she wanted to be a dentist through her journey with her own smile. She believes everyone deserves the highest quality of dental care and works diligently to provide it to her patients. In her spare time, Dr. Patel can be found volunteering, reading a good book, eating at a local mom-and-pop shop, or spending time with her family and friends.

Christina Bukata, DMD grew up in Parkland, Florida and knew she wanted to be a dentist by the time she was in the 4th grade. She attended Harriet L Wilkes Honors College of FAU and then continued on to the University of Florida College of Dentistry. Graduating from UFCD allowed her exposure to many specialty dental programs, including an implant center. Dr. Bukata is a member of many dental organizations including the American Dental Association, the Florida Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry and the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry.

Dr. Bukata loves doing volunteer work. She has been involved in local initiatives to provide dental care to underserved populations through FreeDOM Clinic and Gainesville Ministry Clinic. She has also been overseas in Quito and Ambato, Ecuador serving the community with much needed dental care. She is also an active Children’s Miracle Network Ambassador.

Dr. Bukata enjoys collaborating with patients to create and maintain healthy and happy smiles. She finds it rewarding to witness a patient with dental anxiety become comfortable and excited about dental care. Some of her favorite procedures to perform are restorative, prosthodontic and cosmetic dentistry. She loves photography, videography, and graphic design art. She also enjoys being outdoors, playing chess, local thrift store shopping, and spending time with her friends and family.
